I am a textile designer and a student of fashion theory. My journey began a long time ago, when I first realized how powerful emotions a garment can evoke. These emotions shape our identity, our communities, and the entire fashion and ideological system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The central motif of my work stems from the character of Harlequin, through whose madness truths are spoken, lies are exposed, and paths to freedom are opened. Harlequin, for me, is a symbol of contemporary fashion \u2014 contradictory, changeable, but always sincere in its resistance to convention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My craft operates at the intersection of art, theory and craft knowledge. It creates garments, accessories and textile patterns, as well as research into the social and emotional dimensions of clothing. I am not satisfied with beauty per se \u2014 through design I seek to stimulate dialogue, question norms and advocate for social justice. Each work carries the question: why do we dress the way we do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
